MADIBA SPIRIT

In celebration of Mandela Day 2019, a community event was hosted within the community of Mmoketi at Stinkhoutboom Primary School.

In the spirit of giving back and spreading joy, that is associated with our country’s national hero, a celebration was held at the Primary School. Children, parents and community members joined in the event and shared a lunch.

School uniforms, sports equipment, stationery and gift hampers were donated to the school children.
Mandela Day, officially known as Nelson Mandela International Day, was officially declared by the United Nations in November 2009. Each year, this Day is a global call to action that celebrates the idea that each individual has the power to transform the world, the ability to make an impact and help fight poverty.
